1. Scope and agreement
These Terms of Use apply to Delvierre Publisher websites, accounts, submission and peer-review systems, editorial workspaces, article records, optional subscription services, and related support or production services. By creating an account, accepting an invitation, submitting material, or using a restricted feature, you agree to these terms and to the journal-specific policies that apply to the relevant activity.
2. Accounts and security
You must provide accurate account information, keep credentials confidential, use only your own account, and notify support@delvierre.com promptly if you suspect unauthorised access. Delvierre may require email verification, suspend compromised accounts, invalidate sessions, or request identity or affiliation confirmation where reasonably necessary for security or research integrity.
3. Editorial invitations and roles
Editorial, reviewer, and administrative invitations are personal and do not create employment, remuneration, exclusivity, tenure, or a public competition unless a separate written agreement expressly says otherwise. Invitees must accept or decline through the designated workflow and comply with confidentiality, conflict-of-interest, impartiality, and conduct requirements. Role access may be limited, withdrawn, or reassigned for security, inactivity, conflicts, misconduct, or operational reasons.
4. Submissions, revisions, and uploaded material
You must have authority to submit every manuscript, figure, dataset, response-to-reviewers file, supplementary item, and other uploaded material. You warrant that, to the best of your knowledge, the material is not unlawful, malicious, fabricated, misleading, or infringing and does not improperly disclose third-party confidential or personal information. Authors remain responsible for the accuracy, permissions, ethics approvals, authorship, disclosures, and integrity of their submissions.
When a revision is requested, authors may be required to provide a revised manuscript, a marked copy, and a point-by-point response. Editors may send a revision to previous or new reviewers. Submission does not guarantee external review, acceptance, publication, DOI registration, indexing, preservation, or a particular decision time.
5. Limited licence to operate the publishing process
By submitting material, you grant Delvierre and the relevant journal a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence for the period reasonably necessary to receive, store, reproduce, convert, screen, transmit to authorised editors and reviewers, prepare production files, preserve workflow records, and, if accepted under the agreed publishing licence, publish and maintain the work. Ownership and publication rights remain governed by the journal's copyright and licence policy and any signed publishing agreement.
6. Confidentiality and peer review
Unpublished manuscripts, reviewer identities where protected by the review model, confidential reports, editorial notes, and access links must not be disclosed or used outside the editorial process. Reviewers must not contact authors directly, share review materials publicly, or use unpublished ideas or data for personal advantage. Authors receive the comments released to them by the editorial office, not necessarily confidential comments intended only for editors.
7. Editorial decisions and scholarly record
Editorial decisions are made under the journal's declared policies and delegated editorial authority. Delvierre may investigate integrity concerns, correct metadata, issue corrections or notices, retract or remove material where justified, preserve an audit trail, and cooperate with institutions, regulators, identifier agencies, or integrity bodies where lawful and appropriate. Publication does not constitute endorsement of every statement in an article.
8. Fees, invoices, subscriptions, and third-party payments
Any fee, waiver, institutional coverage, subscription condition, access restriction, renewal term, or refund rule must be shown or agreed before the relevant commitment. A journal described as having no APC will not charge an article processing charge for that journal unless its public policy is prospectively changed before submission. For a journal APC greater than zero, invoice customer details are requested only after acceptance through the authenticated payment workflow. For academic services, invoice customer details are collected with the service request because they are needed to prepare the customer invoice if the request proceeds. Payment services may be provided by third parties such as Wise; their own terms and privacy notices also apply. Delvierre does not request payment solely because a manuscript was submitted unless the applicable route has been clearly disclosed.
Listed academic-service prices follow the published matrix. Work outside the published matrix may be quoted separately only after Delvierre confirms the scope and price. No custom work begins merely because an inquiry was sent.
9. Acceptable use
You may not bypass access controls, access another person's files or account, probe or exploit the service without written authorisation, upload malware or active web content, manipulate peer review, impersonate another person, harvest restricted data, interfere with availability, or use the platform for unlawful, abusive, deceptive, or rights-infringing activity. Good-faith vulnerability reports should follow the Security and Vulnerability Disclosure Policy.
10. External services and identifiers
Delvierre may use hosting, storage, email, authentication, payment, preservation, similarity-checking, DOI, indexing, and analytics providers only when configured or contracted. References to Crossref, ORCID, Google, Cloudflare, Wise, preservation services, or indexing databases do not imply membership, endorsement, active integration, or acceptance unless explicitly confirmed on the relevant page.
11. Availability, changes, and termination
The service may be changed, restricted, suspended, or discontinued for maintenance, security, legal, contractual, or operational reasons. Delvierre may terminate or suspend access for material breach, security risk, unlawful conduct, research-integrity concerns, or non-payment of an agreed charge. Where reasonably practicable, users will be given notice and an opportunity to retrieve eligible material, subject to confidentiality, legal retention, and scholarly-record obligations.
12. Disclaimers and limitation of liability
The platform is provided with reasonable care but is not guaranteed to be uninterrupted, error-free, immune from attack, accepted by any index, or suitable for every legal, medical, financial, or professional purpose. Articles, reviews, and editorial communications are scholarly content and do not replace professional advice.
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Delvierre is not liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, reputational, or loss-of-opportunity damages arising from ordinary use of the service. Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability, remedies, data-protection rights, consumer rights, fraud, intentional misconduct, gross negligence, personal injury, or other matters that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited.
13. Governing law, complaints, and contact
These terms are governed by applicable Romanian and European Union law, without removing mandatory rights or jurisdiction rules that apply to a user. Editorial complaints and appeals should be sent to editorial@delvierre.com. Account, security, privacy, and contractual questions may be sent to support@delvierre.com.
Legal note: These public terms define the platform rules. Signed appointment, service, subscription, publishing, or payment agreements prevail for the specific matter they cover.
